Definetly its a risk investment that can with due care provide great income, one just has to trade wisly and invest and good projects (new altcoins) that can in the future grow in value.

I think there's nothing wrong if some people use cryptocurrency as a source of income as long they know what they doing and they know that strategy to make a good income in cryptocurrency.
That is the case, certainly not a viable option for a newcomer, would need time to grow and develop a good and tested strategy before can comfortably go full time.

Currently, I do not think cryptocurrency offers you a lot. Either you need skills or investment but definitely, you need a lot of time to get a grip on either one from both of these. If you have any skills then you can better try freelancer or any jobs out there but get into cryptocurrency is much hard and should only be tried by taking the risk.

A couple of days ago I seek advice about whether I should get my friend into crypto or not. His current state financially is not good and he does not have any major investments. He is also raising two little kids and his wife is currently unemployed so she could take care of their kids ages 4 and 2. Because they have car loans to pay and mortgage, he was thinking about getting into bitcoin, hoping it will help with their financial problems. He thinks that if this goes well, he could leave his job and make crypto as his main source of income. But can crypto really be used as your source of income? I read some success stories here but can bitcoin really do that?
Crypto currency is contraversive source of income you cannot have the regular income that will be as well competitive and stable regularity from here, the better case would be if cryptocurrency will became an additional to your main income.

To my mind, crypto can be a source of money only if you know the trading basics and trade wisely without having any emotions. You need to research and analyse the market before taking any decision

I think this is a wise answer to the question!

I have read many threads talking over this subject and came to know that many people are very confused about their real job and the crypto world. So out of the panic they have started creating many threads like this. I thought to write some suggestions and kind of roadmap so that people can actually choose what is right and wrong for them. Hope this will help.

If this questions concerns a lot to you then you should know the difference between two.

                                                        _____Real Job______.
|.    _____Crypto Job_____

                                                            1. Secured fro lifetime.
| 1. Unsecured for lifetime
                                                            2. Gives you fixed Income.
| 2. Income is not fixed
                                                            3. Promotion Opporutnities.
| 3. Not Applicable
                                                            4. Yearly Hikes in the Salary.
| 4. Not Applicable
                                                            5. Recognition in the Colleagues.
|5. Not Applicable

These are the most vital points in both of them or at least this is what concern a lot to us while following both of them.

However I believe that what matters is the output which is "Money" And when you have enough money then that = Stability in your life.

This can be achieved in easiest way when you have all the point that are covered under the list of "Real Job". I mean if Im coming home everyday with hard work and for which I will get the sure shot salary at the month end then I would be happy for that and will loose most of the tension over that fact.

Lets consider the same case with the crypto currencies and earning through that.

What options do we have under the Crypto venture?
1. Signature Campaigns
2. Social Media Campaigns
3. Bounty Programs (Same thing with token payout)
4. Media Publications
5. Trading
6. Gambling
7. Lending
8. Hardware Mining
9. Coding (Hardest One to get in)
10.Becoming Managers (Very Stable but tougher to reach that level).

Woof! Thats lot of ways with which I could actually earn from the crypto currency. So I might just think that I will leave my job and will focus on all of them.

But what, lets think about it for a moment! Are they really reliable sources with which we could really go for rest of the life? Im pretty sure most of you will say may be, or some of you who are already very old in this field might just say yes. But, I believe its not that easy to work with all if them altogether and you have no assurance that you will get into campaigns all the time and you may not earn the fixed income form these options creating the instability in your house.

Most of the options above need initial investment and some of them are not even fool proof.

We have to agree that becoming manager here is not everyones play so we should consider that option equal to null.

However, real job salary covers all the points in it and we could easily survive! Thats the whole point.

The End Results?

I wish I could have easily said that we can live happy life just on the crypto currency. Unfortunately, I believe that real job is better than the virtual games. I would really suggest that we should look after the family planning, house stability in all possible ways. There is no way we can have that much stability with just crypto world.

You can make it part of your life, but you can push your life depending on it. Not at all!

Suggestions are all welcome!

In deed cryptocurrency represents an viable option for regular incomes. There is a market so there is money.
That is right, we just need to prove to ourselves that we are capable and deserving also to be paid, that is why we also need to work hard, a lot of opportunities out there, but not all people are earning because they know the opportunity but they don't know how to handle or or they are missing their chance for this.

crypto as a source of income for now I think it's still right when there are many sources to get crypto, you can invest by buying crypto, bounty campaigns up to the faucet
Crypto is more likely to become a source of income rather counting its other benefits. We all know bitcoin was supposed to be a payment method that helps business persons and companies to make fast payments. This was supposed to endorse fast management of payments but just give it a look now, it is more empowered as source of income for people.

If you have a company that is paying in crypto, then its good and you can rely on it, but if you’re expecting to rely on crypto trading to make profit then I’m sorry for you cause you’re probably going to end upwith losing your money you have and not earning it. Well you might earn, but your going to be like so desperate. In fact you shouldn’t see Bitcoin as a source of income.

there are many people mining bitcoin from various countries until those who follow the signature have failed and some don't want anymore and for those who fail to mine the coins it must be very bad and must be careful to do so.

Some of these people that are into signature campaign in this forum are making quite a good amount of money from it. You can only earn a good amount of money when you’re level in the forum is high, so you’ve got to work on that first before talking about making a decent income and it all takes patience.

Apart from that you can also do business like offering some services to the community to people who needs it and getting paid too. I believe you can find a lot of work do in this forum tho’ some of them might not be so good.

In my opinion in this case it would be much better to think about a different source of income. Cryptocurrency investing and trading most of the times dont give an instant profit Sad
I think this is not a good decision to rely on cryptocurrencies completely though it is a profitable source but its profit timings are not known to someone so it is difficult to look into your important works besides crypto investment because you will need money for that and your profit time of crypto may takes some more time.

The better decision is to manage everything and to make another proper investment source besides Bitcoin or other crypto coin investment which may help you out on time.

It is better for a friend to find a job even if he is engaged in crypto-currency, because this is not a permanent profit, especially the first time!
You're right you cannot depend your income in cryptocurrency, it's better to find a job cause even you engaged in cryptocurrency it is not give you permanent profit. If you are first timer in the world of crypto currency it's better you have regular job cause you need some experience and knowledge about in cryptocurrency cause we know working in cryptocurrency have lots of risk.

I am not an employee for some time now but I will never say that I am fully dependent on crypto as my portfolio is still in a big loss from December to current. Wise people will never depend in just one source of income.

Bitcoin can be ANOTHER source of income, but we can't fully rely on it to be the only source of income for our family. It is very risky and at the same time, it needs lot of time before seeing and earning profit, still depending on the status of the market. It would be better for your friend to find a better job with the decent amount of salary that will suit his family's need first before engaging and involving himself with bitcoin.

But if he really want to get involve with cryptos, he can join bounty campaign but it will not guarantee him that he'll earn enough money in a short period of time. It takes times for it to happen. Also he should be careful in joining campaigns because some campaigns happens to be a scam which even we, do not want to get ourselves into.

But crypto in some way is your source of income? Is being a activie crypto user could lead to take like 50% of monthly income? I am just interested how much people could get from crypto in a month period.

I think learning the strategies and the trend of crypto markets can help us to earn some good income from this, but not all the time crypto market is in good status.
